1. Who Will Soon Come to Establish His Millennial Kingdom?

We read in the Bible that many shall come in Jesus’ name, claiming that they will establish the kingdom of God preceding, or in the place of, Jesus Christ. Matthew 24:24 says, "For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect." However, the NASB and NIV remove references to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.

Matthew 6:13 – "And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen."

  • KJV –  for thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
  • NASB – parenthetical marginal disclaimer
  • NIV – footnote
  • NKJV – for Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

Matthew 25:13 – "Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh."

  • KJV –  the Son of man cometh
  • NASB – OMITTED
  • NIV – OMITTED
  • NKJV – Son of man is coming

Revelation 11:17 – "We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned."

  • KJV –  and art come
  • NASB – OMITTED
  • NIV – OMITTED
  • NKJV – and who is to come

Titus 2:13 – "Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ."

  • KJV –  glorious appearing
  • NASB – appearing of the glory
  • NIV – glorious appearing
  • NKJV glorious appearing

Mark 13:6 – "For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

  • KJV –  saying, "I am Christ"
  • NASB – saying, "I am he"
  • NIV – claiming, "I am he"
  • NKJV saying, "I am he"

Luke 11:2b – "When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth."

  • KJV –  Thy will be done as in heaven, so in earth
  • NASB – OMITTED
  • NIV – OMITTED (footnote)
  • NKJV Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven

2. What Will Happen Just Prior to Jesus Christ’s Return?

2 Thessalonians 2:3-12 foretells that many will fall away from, or deny, the true faith, that is, "the truth" (v. 10) that God became man in Jesus Christ. They will, instead, worship a counterfeit Christ, who is, in reality, Satan incarnate, while living under a strong delusion that mankind is being transformed into gods themselves. New version terms "rebellion," "lawlessness
," and "destruction," may be applied to those who oppose this antichrist system. In other words, New Age Bible versions promote the antichrist.

2 Thessalonians 2:3 – "Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition.

  • KJV –  there come a falling away first, and that  man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition
  • NASB – the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction
  • NIV – the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction
  • NKJVunless the falling away comes first and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition

3. How Are We to Prepare for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ?

Jesus gives his disciples instructions to "watch and pray," as He did Peter, "that ye enter not into temptation" (Matthew 26:41). Those who do not heed this warning, will fall away, and will be not counted worthy to escape the judgment that is coming upon all those who dwell on the earth.

Mark 13:33 – "Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is. "

  • KJV –  watch and pray
  • NASB – keep on the alert
  • NIV – be on guard, be alert
  • NKJV – watch and pray

Luke 21:36 – "Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man."

  • KJV –  pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy ot escape all these things
  • NASB – praying in order that you may have strength to escape all these things
  • NIV – pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen
  • NKJV –pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things

4. How Will the Antichrist Be Recognized?

The spirit of the antichrist does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh, but rather, believes that Christ comes as the "universal consciousness" of the divine spirit within each person. The Antichrist exalts himself above God, an will exterminate many through an artifice of "peacemaking." He will also be a practitioner of witchcraft, or "The Craft" (of Freemasonry), adn will worship "the force" of pagan religions.

1 John 4:3 – ""And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

  • KJV –  And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist
  • NASB – and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God; and this is the spirit of antichrist
  • NIV – but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist
  • NKJV and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the antichrist

Daniel 8:25 – "And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand."

  • KJV –  he shall cause craft to prosper … and by peace shall destroy many
  • NASB – He will cause deceit to succeed by his influence … destroy many while they are at ease
  • NIV – He will cause deceit to prosper … when they feel secure, he will destroy many
  • NKJV – he shall cause deceit to prosper … he shall destroy many in their prosperity

  • KJV –  shall he honour the God of forces
  • NASB– he will honor a god of fortresses
  • NIV – he will honor a god of fortresses
  • NKJV – he will honor a god of fortresses

5. How Will the Mark of the Beast Be Recognized?

It is now possible to implant, hypodermically, a Positive Identification Microchip in the hand or the forehead. New Age Versions will mislead many to suppose that the forbidden mark is on, not in, the hand or forehead. the NASB and NIV do not identify the mark as an object separate from teh name or number of the beast. Further, the NIV symbolizes the number, thus concealing its identification of a particular man.

Revelation 13:16 – "And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads."

  • KJV –  to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads
  • NASB – to be given a mark on their right hand, or on their forehead
  • NIV – to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead
  • NKJV –to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads

Revelation 13:17 – "And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name."

  • KJV –  the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name
  • NASB – the mark, either the nbame of the beast or the number of his name
  • NIV – the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name
  • NKJV the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name

Revelation 13:18 – "Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six."

  • KJV –  count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man
  • NASB – calculate the number of the beast, for the number is that of a man
  • NIV – calculate the number of the beast, for it is man’s number
  • NKJV – calculate the number of the beast for it is the number of a man

6. Should People Receive the Mark of the Beast?

God will seal His servants’ foreheads during the Tribulation. But new versions add "his name and" to this prophecy, leading the unwary to take themark of the beast, or antichrist, before receiving the Lamb’s Father’s name. But we see in the Bible, that all who take "his name" – the name of the antichrist – are condemned (Revelation 14:9-10 – "And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, 10  The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb").

Revelation 14:1 – ""nd I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father’s name written in their foreheads."

  • KJV –  His father’s name written in their foreheads
  • NASB – His name and his father’s name written on their foreheads
  • NIV – His name and his father’s name written on their foreheads
  • NKJV – his father’s name written on their foreheads

7. What is MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT?

According to Scripture, Mystery Babylon is both a city, as well as a religious system. New version change the punctuation of Revelation 17:9-10, to confuse the identity of the "city of seven hills," which is Rome. Revelation 14:8 and 17:18 are references to "that" great city, which is mentioned in 17:9. In 17:5, the NASB transfers the key word, "Mystery," from the literal name on her forehead, to a descriptive phrase declaring the name "a mystery," that is, knowledge not revealed to man. This alteration changes the interpration of this passage, by removing its association with the mystery religion of ancient Babylon, from which the Roman Catholic Church, the New Age Movement, and Freemasonry, as well as other pagan religions, originated.

Revelation 17:9-10 – "And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. 10  And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space."

  • KJV –  The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman
sitteth. And there are seven kings
  • NASB – The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits, and they are seven kings
  • NIV – The seven heads are seven hills on which the woman sits. they are also seven kings
  • NKJV The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits. There are also seven kings

Revelation 14:8 – "And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication."

  • KJV –  Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city
  • NASB – Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great
  • NIV – Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great
  • NKJV Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city

Revelation 17:18 – "And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth."

  • KJV –  the woman which thou sawest is that great city
  • NASB – the woman whom you saw is the great city
  • NIV – The woman you saw is the great city
  • NKJV the woman whom you saw is that great city

Revelation 17:5 – "And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH."

  • KJV –  upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH
  • NASB – upon her forehead a name was written, a mystery, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH
  • NIV – this title was written on her forehead: MYSTERY BABYLON THE GREAT THE MOTHER OF PROSTITUTES AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH
  • NKJV on her forehead a name was written: MYSTERY BABYLON, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH
