Bible Version Comparisons, Part 15: The Second Coming of Jesus Christ
Posted by ProliferatingTruth on April 5, 2010
Acts 1:11 – "Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven."
In the Scriptures, Christ has promised to return in power and glory, to rule and reign on the earth, and eventually, to establish a new heavens, and a new earth.
But in many new versions of the Bible, important references to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ to establish His reign upon earth are often omitted. Further, the New Age movement, apostate religions, and the cults, believe that "the Christ" is already on the earth, and will soon be revealed.
